Arava (leflunomide) is a disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD) used to treat the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. It works by blocking the production of certain proteins in the body that can cause inflammation and joint destruction. Arava 20 mg is a yellow, uncoated round tablet, and comes in a bottle of 30 tablets. Arava is usually taken once daily, with or without food.
