Description
Lidocaine Hydrochloride (HCl) is a local anesthetic commonly used to numb a local area of the body before certain medical procedures are performed. It works by temporarily blocking nerve signals in the area it is applied to. It comes in both a powder and a solution form, with the powder containing 99g of Lidocaine Hydrochloride per gram. When the powder is mixed with a suitable diluent or carrier, it produces a solution containing 1g of Lidocaine HCl per 99g. This solution is used for direct application to skin, or injection into the area to be numbed before a medical procedure.
